Had an amazing lunch here today. Clams and Seafood cataplana were exceptional. Fresh seafood, simply cooked and tasting delicious. What more could you want? Friendly staff and fantastic value for money. Thank you!

Had the seafood cataplana on the recommendation of the proprietor - absolutely delicious and had a ton of seafood including a whole crab. Very personable service (in English). Would strongly recommend if you’re looking to try cataplana!

Tiny traditional restaurant owned by a lovely Portuguese couple and frequented by locals. Not sure whether the owners speak English, I tried my best in Portuguese, but the salmon with veggies was one of the best salmons I've ever had. They showed me the fresh produce in a restaurant fridge and I could choose what I wanted to have from there, which they then cooked. They showed me because they said some of the things in the menu were no longer available (if they've served all fish of a certain type, they'll tell you what remains available). The salmon, cold water and the serviço (bread, butter, olives and fried fish) was only €15 but I had to leave a tip. If I can, I would be delighted to eat there again. Very recommendable.- Serviço

We were looking for somewhere nice to eat and found this little restaurant near the front of Olhao. The special of the day was monkfish so we all agreed to try it. The food was excellent and the chef and waiter were very accommodating with the 3 children we had with us. If we were to visit Olhao again for fish this would be the first place we would eat

Simply delicious. Their kitchen doesn't close during the day if you're looking for a late lunch or early dinner like us. We got oysters and a shrimp dish. The latter was so good because of the sauce (some orange, garlic, olive oil and bayleaf). They were a bit busy when we came but the owners (seemingly a husband and wife) were quite friendly. I would definitely recommend! We paid 22.50 euros for 2 drinks and the 2 dishes we ordered in the photos.

Delicious dinner - authentic, simple food with no fuss service. Pick your fish from the fridge and leave the rest to the chef. Arroz dishes - both Crab (Marisco) and Monkfish (Tamboril) particularly special. Would recommend drinking beer over wine; or asking to select wine from the fridge - as some of the white wines were a bit sweeter than we’d have liked.
I recommend very tasty and fresh oysters! I was surprised when we were brought tasting wine and champagne to go with the oysters. Poured for a tasting to choose according to taste wine or champagne to complement the oysters, very nice, I am impressed

Simple. Delicious. Fresh. Loved our lunch! This small restaurant in the corner of the Olhao Mercado exceeds expectations. Lovely little tables set with Portuguese tablecloth and fresh fish on display to choose your meal. Well-priced, great food, generous portions, good service. Cosy seating inside, or sunny outdoor seating available.

Cute little restaurant next to the fish market - he has a stall inside, and the restaurant is on the outside of the building. Very generous portions and tasty cooking. Perhaps he didnt bring exactly what we had ordered, but it was really tasty! Authentic Portuguese cooking.

We were looking for a nice seafood place for dinner and found this restaurant. We were seated straight away and handed over the menus. They were in Portuguese so the server recommend the house special. It did not disappoint, it was more than enough for 3 people. The seafood was extremely fish and flavourful. We enjoyed the entire meal!

Both seafood and fish were delicious! I don't really like seafood but even I had to admit it was tasty. Tuna was simple, grilled, big piece of fish, served with potatoes and a few tomatoes. I really enjoyed it. Everything freshly made with products straight from the market next door. Very low prices, especially for what it offers. The owner/chef couple are lovely people. I recommend the place for a lunch!

If you want to eat the local food of the area then this is the place to visit. It is a small business but definitely worth seeking out. The owner was extremely helpful and engaging. The shellfish Cataplana for two was fantastic.

You can't get any more authentic than that. All fish and seafood is fresh on display, there is no menu, you simply point and ask them how you would like it cooked, that's it. Myself I am not a seafood lover but I can appriciate an authentic meal when I see one and this restaurant was both a meal and an experience.
